Ingredients:

1-lb. chestnuts

Directions:

Raise the temperature to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) in an air fryer.

Turn off the heat after bringing a large pot of water to a boil. Dry and clean the chestnuts.

Place the flat side down on a cutting board when arranging. Use a paring knife to cut an “X” through at least half of the rounded side of the chestnut.

Using the knife to pierce both the outer skin and the dark layer beneath it is vital. This will make it simpler to peel after it has been roasted. Chestnuts must be soaked in boiling water for anywhere between one minuteute and five minuteutes.

With a slotted spoon, place the proverbs directly into the air fryer. Boil 1 cup of water and pour it into the basket.

Once warmed, ten minuteutes in an air fryer is perfect. Shake vigorously. Check to see whether any water is still present. If not, then add a half cup.

Cook for 5 to 10 minuteutes or until the shells have popped and the exposed meat has browned. Take them outside and wait till it is safe to handle them. Remove the covers.
